I just can't get over it!!
The shocking thing about all of these hobbies is that they take SO MUCH effort! It's not like tennis or basketball or even running...where you just go to a local park (approx 5 min drive) and enjoy your hobby. This man must be DESPERATE! Seriously CRACKS me up!
I love that you two are so different and you relish it! What fun that you're so likably (the dictionary on my Mac says that IS a word) opposite!
This is the last time I'm going to say this in a comment post (promise)...but you seriously need to do some free-lance writing work! Contact a magazine or something!!
I love you my hilarious friend! Your laughter makes my life bright!
SallyJon & Sallyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09253946591719414914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5438013659013419081.post-44167064207390664062008-04-13T14:08:00.000-05:002008-04-13T14:08:00.000-05:00so funny! i don't get the fishing stuff eithe...so funny! i don't get the fishing stuff either--but i was raised in the desert, so i'm not surprised.

my hubby likes two out of three--golf and poker. poker is very logical...it's all about probabilities, learning how to bet is key. the last time i played was his annual birthday bash, came in second (beating him). hee hee hee..

as for golf, i will NOT play in the heat. i'm with you on that...although i can't figure which is worse the oven-type heat of el paso or the steam-bath heat here. i do recognize that the humidity is MUCH better for my skin though...i am refusing to age gracefully (i think that's why i blog, i convince myself i'm as hip and young as y'all).

bottom line, if you can't convince him to change his hobbies, join him. :)cristinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06705124271085352487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5438013659013419081.post-64300070097241328842008-04-12T10:08:00.000-05:002008-04-12T10:08:00.000-05:00LOL! I thought the very same thing when I rolled over at 6am this morning to turn the alarm off for Mo AND apparently I didn't stay awake long enough to shake him and and wake him up so we both proceeded to sleep for another 45 mins - and then he FREAKED out when he realized he missed 45 mins of good kayak fishing....COME ON!!Katiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15413863520818250212noreply@blogger.com
