Random Random Random

Here are a few random things thrown together for you today, since Jen the Newlywed cannot even begin to form a post that flows together in any way or has any kind of meaning.

** I recently bought a white denim jacket from Ann Taylor Loft. I'm pretty sure I will be wearing it atleast 5 times a week. It is now my spring and summer staple for work and church.

** Ann Taylor Loft should dedicate a wing of their corporate offices to me. They could call it "The Jen Wing". In the last 7 years, I would say that 95% of my clothing purchases have come from there. Honestly, they should start giving me clothes. That is all there is to it.

** I have a friend who is a photographer. She photographs weddings. Sometimes she sees funny things and takes a picture of it. And then she sends it to me. I got this little treasure on Monday.

** Brad chose Emily. I'm thrilled about this. Honestly, in the After the Final Rose taping, I felt like they were the most real couple I've ever seen on the Bachelor. I'm not saying they're going to get married, but I do think that they actually are trying and are going through real-life relationship things and they aren't being naive and acting like they will never ever have a problem (Jake & Vienna) and I think Brad is genuinely and sincerely in love with her.

** I spend alot of time analyzing The Bachelor. Don't judge me.

** I feel like I may not watch the new Bachelorette because I never really liked the dentist girl that they have chosen.

** You people really came through for me with the New York restaurants. Laura sent me an entire email with the motherload. She had it broken down my genre of restaurant and price range.

** Let's get something clear, here, folks. I often get comments that say "You don't know me, I'm a blog stalker". THERE ARE NO STALKERS HERE AT JEN THE NEWLYWED. I am writing a blog for the whole world wide web to see and I welcome all readers! I also "blog stalk" and can empathize with the joy of reading blogs of people you don't know. So, please, come forward, blog stalkers. Show yourselves. If you're reading this, say hi! I'm glad to know that I'm not only writing this for my mom and sisters!

** On another note, I'm wearing some pants today that I got from TJ Maxx for $14.00. they are preciousness and that fact that I got them for $14.00 makes them even cuter.

**That new song by Train called "Marry Me" is a new fave. I'm sure in 3 years after everyone plays it on their wedding slideshow I'll start to get tired of it.

** I watched a show last night about mail-order brides. Absolutely fascinating. And a tiny bit creepy.

** On Sunday, I sang on mic in the "traditional" service. Afterwards, my friend Jennifer sent me an email telling me that "you were rockin' that choir robe and black pumps!". I love girlfriends who make you feel better about yourself when you feel mega dorky.

** I pretty much always feel mega dorky.

** And that's pretty much all I have to say today.

  1. There is a Loft at the outlet mall by my house and I bought MANY shirts on Sunday. Love it!

  2. Oh how I love your random posts. And I love the Loft as well. Do you have their credit card? I use it responsibly of course :) but they give you money back and extra coupons sometimes :). And it just feels great to have a pink little credit card in my wallet.

  3. I have never been in Ann Taylor Loft, and I'm starting to think I've been missing out!

Marry Me is such as sweet song. It was used in my brother's wedding 2 weeks ago :o)

  4. I am THRILLED Brad picked Emily as well. I agree with you and think they were incredibly honest and real. I just wish Emily was my real friend so I could call and ask how they are doing. I want them to make it so bad! I think I am too emotionally invested:)

  5. Totally agree with you about the Bachelor. They are the only real folks in the history of the show.

  6. Hi, I'm Erin and i know a bunch of people who know you - or stalk you, one or the other :). Your blog always makes me laugh!

  7. Your post are so great, so full of information for us girls.
I will have to check out the Loft. I have been to Ann Taylor stores...very, very dangerous! Ha.
PS just listen to Marry Me what a fantastic song.

  8. Guilty stalker...hi! I'm Jessyka; I found your blog through Ashley McWhorter. You always make me laugh!

  9. Emily is the favorite. I had a very lengthy discussion with my advisory girls about it last week. (Talk about feeling old - I teach highschoolers) They went on and on about how she is too cute for words, and that they are jelly of her cuteness. Can't wait for our followup Bachelor catch-up conversation next week. I'm sure they will be all kinds of excited!

  10. But you were seriously rocking the robe and pumps. Seriously. I thought you were hot. Your other blog readers would agree if they had seen you.

When we make it back to church and I have been strapped to my chest in a cool sling, I expect that wave that we discussed.

    Do it. For Beemer.
