Communication

Grant is intently watching the U.S. Open on the Golf Channel. He is in his zone.

"Babe, did you talk to Chase today?

No response. Stares at the television without blinking.

"Grant, did you talk to your brother today?"

Still no speaking. No blinking.

(slightly raised voice) "GRANT".

Grant snaps out of it, turns to me sweetly and says:

"I'm sorry baby... did Tiger do what?"
